Andrew Taylor Still MD, the creator of Osteopathy, lived from 1828 to 1917. Due to the historical era, there is only one film of him treating a patient. The film, showing Still treating a shoulder, is ten seconds long, silent, and grainy. Generations of practitioners have puzzled over what Still was doing in that film.

Osteopath Richard van Buskirk solved the mystery. Over ten years van Buskirk watched the film hundreds of times and researched notes left by Still’s original students. In this way he painstakingly reconstructed the treatment method Still demonstrated in the film clip. The technique produces substantial results quickly, it is versatile and applicable to a wide range of tissue types and body parts.

In this presentation, Jeffrey Burch describes and shows how to apply the van Buskirk/Still technique to several areas of the body and teach a variation of the technique which makes it even more widely applicable. You will gain a powerful new skill with which to improve the well-being of your clients.
