Structural Integrator and International Educator

Liz Stewart has been an International Educator and Structural Integrator in private practice for more than 25 years. She has developed a Supervision Program to provide support for all bodywork practitioners. Liz holds the passionate belief that through group or individual supervision a practitioner can best establish the imperative framework for self-care and subsequently more fully realise themselves within their work.

Since completing her training in 1992 at the Guild for Structural Integration in Boulder, CO Liz has maintained a steady commitment to continued education pursuing a variety of modalities and complementary thought that support her clients. These include: cranio-sacral and visceral touch, somatic expression, movement therapies, cadaver dissection, Jin Shin Jyutsu, trauma dynamics, group dynamics, and modern psychoanalysis. Her work has been described as comprehensive and deeply transformative. Her clients refer to Liz as “highly intuitive, strikingly observant and laser sharp”.

Liz’s diverse education coupled with her journey as a single mother has shaped her understanding of an individual’s core needs and has reinforced her commitment to individual health and personal growth. “I have learned over time that an integrative approach is, by its nature, an exploratory process. We are asking, “what’s possible here?” We are not producing but instead engaging with the client. We never assume that “we know” or that “we hold all of the answers”. Holding a curiosity about our selves equal to the curiosity for the client is crucial. In order to cultivate an understanding of full integration it means that we have to consider all of the layers”.
