Katie Sarra Ba Hons Fine Art, Post Grad Dip Art Psychotherapy, CSB, CSSE, is course leader for the UK and & Ireland Certification in Somatic Sex Education and Sexological Bodywork and co founder of the Sea School of Embodiment which hosts international leading edge trainings in Embodiment.
Katie has over 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples and groups supporting the embodiment process of feeling more to fear less. Her special interest is in the neuro – plasticity of safety for the integration of exiled parts of the self seeking wholeness and re-connection. She facilitates people to explore and experiment with new ways of being closer to their naturalness; to reverse the tides of projection and life tragedies into increased interoceptive and exteroceptive awareness.
She applies her understandings of Jaak Panksepp’s Emotional Command systems, Stephen Porge’s PolyVagal Theory, Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, Shamanism, Tantra, Western and Eastern medicine, playback theatre, NLP and sexological bodywork, Trauma and attachment research and Betty Martin’s Wheel of consent in her practice researching different routes that enhance embodied intimacy decisions.
Katie is also a course leader on the Certificate in Sexological Bodywork, U.K. and Ireland training and delivers the U.K. CSB training together with Kian de la Cour (Sexuological Bodywork UK).
