Natalie Brooks has been working as an embodied relationship psychotherapist for nearly 20 years in private practice. Over the last two decades, she has been exploring women’s embodiment and conscious community. She has taught an ancient womb mediation dance, explored many forms of embodied therapy, held women’s awakening embodiment retreats and supported in creating a women’s temple, in which we practised weekly contemporary women’s awakening practices, rituals and enquiry into the nature of our innate being.
Natalie says: “I am passionate about the transformational aspect of unknown spaces that arise in therapy and in life. How I see it is that uncertainty can offer a profound portal to intimacy with the mystery of the aliveness happening in each moment. If I am willing to breathe into the spaces in which I have no answers, no path to follow and no theory or technique to back me up, I come into relationship with the very aliveness in this present moment that wants to unfold and reveal itself.”
Natalie’s formal training includes a BA Hons in Transactional Analysis Counselling, (Metanoia Institute, London), 2 years training in Embodied Relationship Therapy with Nick Totton, Exploration in Group Process Therapy – Chaos and Grace. Natalie is a registered member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and she has explored many modalities of personal and group body psychotherapy for many years.
