Hugh Milne was born in Scotland in 1948. He is a third-generation Naturopath and Osteopath. After graduating from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy in 1971, he apprenticed at Kingston Clinic, Edinburgh, Tyringham Clinic, and Middleton Park Health Hydro. From 1973 until 1982 he was a chela of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, and lived and worked in an ashram in Poona, India, as resident osteopath.
Hugh began to teach what he came to call ‘Visionary Craniosacral Work™’ in 1984 in London. He immigrated to the USA in 1985, in search of wider horizons, lower taxes, and better weather. Being able to keep his British passport as he did so was the clincher. That year also saw the publication of ‘Bhagwan, The God That Failed,’ which told the story of his ten years with his guru. Since that time he has taught more than seven hundred and fifty, four-day Visionary Craniosacral Work ™ classes worldwide. The greatest joy is to see hundreds of VCSW graduates who now practice their craft throughout the world. Hugh’s 510-page work, The Heart of Listening: A Visionary Approach to Craniosacral Work, was published in the USA in 1996, in Germany in 1998, and France in 2010.
