The Womb, the Tomb and the Ancestors

Modern culture places birth at the beginning of life and death at the end. They have no relation to each other and prolonging the distance from the former to the latter is one of the central aims mainstream medicine.

Ancient and Indigenous cultures have a very different understanding. Birth and death are part of a natural cycle and are closely linked. Each life-cycle is also part of a larger pattern of ongoing cyclic dying and rebirth.

Drawing from ancient and indigenous wisdom, quantum physics and clinical practice, this talk explores how we can renew our relationship with nature by understanding our place in it. You will see how birth, death and our relationship with the ancestors are essential openings into our own deeper nature and the wider natural continuum.
